PROJECT MANAGEMENT

In light of global climate change, discussions on the transformation of European energy systems are taking place across Europe. The shared goal of the European Union is to ensure, by 2030, an increase in the share of renewable energy sources to 32%, improve energy efficiency by 32.5%, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% (compared to 1990 levels). By 2050, Europe aims to become the world's first climate-neutral continent.

The European Union is taking measures to support sustainable solutions, which also involve financial support for transformation across all sectors, particularly in the industrial sector.

The Project Management Department oversees and coordinates the preparation and implementation of energy projects approved by the Moravian-Silesian Region, which is one of the coal regions in transition.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES

  • Ensuring and coordinating the preparation and implementation of energy projects, primarily related to achieving the goals of the Winter Package (Clean Energy for All Europeans) and the European Green Deal
  • Monitoring and providing advice on grant programs and financial tools funded by the EU and other sources
  • Collaboration on the development of strategic documents in line with the transformation of the energy sector in the Moravian-Silesian Region
  • Organizing seminars and training sessions
